All accepted abstracts will be published in Histology & Histopathology, the Official Journal of the Spanish Society of Histology and Tissue Engineering. Impact factor: 2.502, Journal Citation Report® 2010, published by Thomson Scientific.

Instructions for preparing your abstract
All abstracts presented during the first International Symposium on Cell and Gene-Based Therapies (as oral presentations or posters) will be published in the journal Histology and Histopathology (impact factor 2.502, Journal Citation Report® 2010), the Official Journal of theSpanish Society of Histology and Tissue Engineering.
There is a limit of 500 words for the main abstract text, excluding title, authors and affiliations.
Please prepare your abstracts carefully and according to the following instructions:
1. Register at the abstract submission on system at 
2. Log- in using your user ID and password and submit your abstract using your user profile. You will be able to submit as many abstracts as you need using your user ID and password as many times as you need.
3. Please select or type the information required in each field, including:
- Title of the work. Please use capital letters only.
- Preferred type of presentation. Please select if you prefer to present your work as oral presentation or as a poster or if you do not have a preference. Please note that the scientific committee of the symposium will take the final decision on this. Maximun size: 10 MB. Format allowed: doc, pdf and jpg
- Abstract text. Please summarize here the main findings of the work using a maximum of 500 words. We recommend this information to be divided into the following sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions and Acknowledgements (if applicable).
- Figures or Tables. The authors can upload ONE figure or short table to illustrate their abstract text. Figures should have enough resolution for printing (300 dpi). Tables should be properly formatted in Word format. Please do not use large tables that are difficult to fit for printing. Abstracts with more than 500 words could be truncated for publication.
- Number of Authors of the abstract. Please select the number of authors from 1 to 10.
- Authors. Use the Family name and Initials of the first name for each author (i.e. Smith JE). Include the institution and department (if applicable) for each author using the fields available.
- Session where you prefer your abstract to be presented. Choose the specific session in which you would like to present your work. If your work could be presented during several symposia, choose that one in which the work fits more properly. Please note that the scientific committee will take the final decision and could assign your work to a different session.
- Keywords. Include here 1-3 keywords related to your work that will help the symposium organization to properly categorize your work.
4. Submit your abstract using the "submit" icon. After this, you will be able to submit a new abstract or to log-out the abstract submission system.
